This was the final render in wide 16:9

Imported a real heightmap of haditha Iraq and used the landscape painter to sculpt out the world

Using Megascans desert foliage, I painted over the initial landscaped ground









I've included a bunch of stills from the process I went through to make the video. I made the Iraqi desert inside Unreal 5.4 , the comics were made in Photoshop and the animation in Blender. I compiled the whole project in After Effects.
This was the final render in wide 16:9
